CNC machining refers to a process method of machining parts on CNC machine tools

CNC machining refers to a process method of machining parts on CNC machine tools. Generally speaking, the process procedures of CNC machine tool machining and traditional machine tool machining are consistent, but obvious changes have also taken place. A machining method that uses digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools.

It is an effective way to solve the problems of changeable parts, small batch, complex shape and high precision, and to realize efficient and automatic machining.

Computer Numerical control technology originated from the needs of aviation industry. In the late 1940s, an American helicopter company proposed it.

In 1952, the Massachusetts Institute of technology developed a three-axis NC milling machine. In the mid-1950s, this CNC milling machine has been used to process aircraft parts. In the 1960s, the CNC system and programming became more and more mature and perfect. CNC machine tools have been used in various industrial departments, but the aerospace industry has always been the largest user of CNC machine tools. Some large aviation factories are equipped with hundreds of CNC machine tools, mainly cutting machine tools. The parts processed by numerical control include the integral wall panel, girder, skin, spacer frame, propeller of aircraft and rocket, the die cavity of gearbox, shaft, disc and blade of aeroengine, and the special cavity surface of combustion chamber of liquid rocket engine.
